Muskingum Valley Council
Celebration of Leadership!
Saturday, February 18, 2012, 2-4 PM
North Terrace Church of Christ
Brandywine Blvd, Zanesville, OH
On Saturday, February 18th, the Muskingum Valley Council will recognize its 2011 class of Eagle Scouts. These young men represent the very best of our community. Their path to Eagle rank has required a great deal of effort, planning and leadership. They have faced and overcome many obstacles. Most importantly, they have committed themselves to a set of values that will ensure they become leading citizens wherever their lives may take them.
We will also present the Silver Beaver awards. The Silver Beaver is the highest award a local council may bestow. It is always difficult to choose among our 1,000 plus volunteers. The honor is significant and we are tremendously proud of what these volunteers have done for youth and their community.
The Most Reverend Frederick F. Campbell, D.D., Ph.D., Bishop of Columbus, will give the keynote address.
All Muskingum Valley Council Scouters and Scouting families are invited. We know how much you give throughout the year, so this recognition is provided at no cost to you!
Please RSVP by calling 740-453-0571

Advancement is:
Personal Growth
Learning By Doing
Advancement encourages the Scouting Ideals.
Each Youth progresses at his or her own rate.
Advancement is a recognition of what a young person is able to do, not merely a reward for what he or she has done.
